Helliothis Armagera Detection Dog
The Heliothis dog was done to help the cotton industry, whom had trouble dealing with the influx of heliothis armagera bugs which eat the the cotton crop roots and destroy crop yield. This detection dog was done in conjunction with Queensland government and the cotton industry around the year 2000.
We successfully proved that a detection dog program could be developed and utilised to help tell the yield rate of Heliothis bugs per acre. Heliothis does not just attack cotton crops it has a host of other crops it also has great effect on.
